About the artist Jane Ridout
Jane Ridout is both artist and musician. Playing a mean fiddle herself, her
sensitive portraits of fellow traditional musicians reflect this dual
passion. Whereas much of her work indicates her own subject preferences,
Jane also accepts commissions.
Whilst oil and watercolour are her chosen paint mediums, Jane's withering
pencil caricatures have punctured many a friend's ego.
Essentially self - taught, Jane has also studied at Bristol, Caerleon
and Newport College of Art. She lives near Pontypool, South Wales.
About the prints and cards
Large size prints: these watercolour and oil studies are available in large format Giclee reproduction, using pigment inks with 100% Cotton Somerset Enhanced textured papers, individually titled and signed. These prints are supplied unmounted.
Greetings cards are individually hand made, with miniature giclee prints mounted on to a white, textured, heavyweight watercolour card
Standard cards are 6 in x 4 in format / 15.2 cm x 10.2 cm, priced at £3.50.
